Saturday: Quote Day #3

"You can only trust yourself... and barely that."
~Paige Wilson

Trust is a really big word. If you ask me one thing that really matters to me, aside from friends, family and God, I would answer trust. Nowadays, it's hard to trust people, even the quotes says that we can barely trust ourselves. I always make sure that the people I tell my secrets to are those people that I know I can trust. I find it hard to trust people because I really hate that feeling when all of a sudden a lot of people know your secrets even though you only told 1 person about it. I, honestly treasure the trust people give me. I really appreciate it when people tell me their deepest, darkest secrets because I know that they trust me and knowing that they trust me makes me happy. In return, I do my best to keep their trust. So to summarize all that, TRUST is very important so try your best to be as trustworthy as you can be.

First and Last

Last October 18 the Red Cross, Friends of Mother Earth (FOME) and the World Youth Alliance Club (WYA) had a camping as their culminating activity. It was my first and last camping at school and it was really fun!

We played the Amazing Race which was planned by the fourth year, there was a campfire and we also sang campfire songs taught by Mrs. Gabanes and Ms. Adrias. After all those activities we went to Year III - St. Peter's Classoom to watch a movie. We watched 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green' which is a great movie. The Movie ended probably around 1 am. Since we were all so hyper, we didn't really sleep immediately. Some of us played outside while some of us stayed in our tents chit chatting with our friends. It was a really fun experience and I really hope that before this school year ends, we'd get to have a camping again.

Here are some pictures during our camping... Photo credits: Paulene Cuello.

Day 1 of Sembreak

Sembreak officially started yesterday, October 24, 2013. I didn't have any plans this sembreak but my friends and I decided to get our nails done on the first day and so we did. I've always loved nail arts but my nails aren't really that long and great for nail arts but anyways I still had my nails done and my toenails. Andrea Lacson and Camella Raylos also had their nails done although Camella only had her toenails done not her fingernails.

Here are pictures of our Nails:

After getting our nails done we ate our lunch at Pizza Hut. After eating, we helped Andrea find clothes and it took us the whole afternoon to find clothes because well... Lacson is so maarte. Ahihi. So basically, that's what happened on my first day of Sembreak.

Saturday: Quote Day #2

"The antidote for fifty enemies is one friend." ~Aristotle

In my opinion, we don't need a lot of friends. What's important is that we have at least one true friend that would always be there for us no matter what.

Saturday: Quote Day #1

So I've decided that every Saturday I would blog about a certain quote and how it struck me.

The Quote for today is:

"When you look at your life, the greatest happiness are Family Happiness"
~ Joyce Brothers

I agree with the quote. The happiness we feel when we buy something or when we achieve something is very different from the happiness we feel when we're having fun with our family. My family is very important to me. I know that whatever happens, they will always be there for me. My family is one of those families who laughs a lot. Every dinner, We would always talk about our day and laugh at some of our experiences. I would also consider my family as STRONG. Through the years, we have encountered a lot of problems. But we're still together and happy. My family is very faithful. We would always go to Church together except for the times when we have to do something important, maybe that's why whatever challenges we've encountered, we always passed it. Because we know that God is there for us.

Scrap-booking Collection

I have always loved doing DIY (Do It Your Own) projects even though I'm not that good. And I've always loved collecting scrap-booking materials. I feel like I spend my money/savings wisely if I buy scrap-booking materials even though its the other way around, well not really. It depends on the person's point of view. Here are some pictures of my collections... I was lazy to take a picture of all of them :)

and here is a picture of one of my DIY proojects:

Brother's 11th

Last July 18, my brother turned 11 and since it was a school day we weren't able to celebrate so I suggested that we'd celebrate it on Saturday and my mom agreed. We decided to have a Day out with the rest of our cousins. We went to the Playhub in Esplanade but sadly, the weather didn't cooperate with us and so we weren't able to play but nonetheless it was a fun adventure and we still got to bond as a family.
