I've always loved doing DIY (do it yourself) crafts and recently I watched Bethany Mota's (a youtuber) video about gift ideas for Christmas which was all DIY crafts and actually 2 ideas made me really want to try it but I only tried one which is the Lollipop Bouquet. It's actually very easy to make and a really cute gift to a loved one. I decided to make one to bring to our Family Christmas party but there was no available styrofoam ball in all the stores I went to so I wasn't able to make one. But I was able to buy one in Maasin so I made one for New Year instead.
So to make a Lollipop Bouquet you are going to need:
Steps:
1. You don't have to, but I painted my pot to make it more colorful. BTW, I used a plastic pot.
2. Put the ball inside the pot.
3. Insert the lollipops into the styrofoam ball. It's better if you start from the bottom.
4. Just fill all the spaces of the styrofoam ball with lollipops.
5. Tie a ribbon around the pot and you're done!
EASY. It's a great idea especially since Valentines is just around the corner ;)

Family Day 2013
This year, I would say that I didn't enjoy the Family Day that much because almost all the seniors were inside the horror room, We didn't really get to enjoy the activities but Spectrum was very fun. so I guess it was okay. It was actually the first time I felt carefree and joined my batch mates in dancing.
After the Spectrum, My friends and I decided to have a sleeopver at Camella's. It was really fun and one of the most memorable moments ever :)

1 Day Apart
I wanted to post this right after the play fest but for some unknown reason I can't. Something was wrong with blogger but now that I can, HOORAY!
Okay so Andrea Lacson and I were born 1 day apart. Her Birthday is on November 30 and mine is on December 2. For this year, During Lacson's Birthday we went out for lunch and watched a movie.
So the pictures above were all during Lacson's Birthday. The Next day, December 1st, I asked my friends if they could sleep at my house so we could all go to school on monday which is my birthday and also the start of the play fest and they agreed. First we all met each other in Robinsons, had snacks and sang at the karaoke rooms. After that, We went home and then we decided to go swimming and so we did. We ate dinner and went to the entrance of the subdivision to watch the lights. I would say that we had lots of fun for those 2 days.

Saturday: Quote Day #4
"To me faith means not worrying."
~John Dewey
~John Dewey
Yesterday we faced the strongest typhoon for 2013. Faith was one of the reasons we were able to stay strong. I was also scared but to be truly honest, I wasn't really that scared. I knew that My family and I were going to be safe because 1. We lived in a safe neighborhood and 2. We believed that God will there for us. Like I've said before, my family and I have encountered problems that really tested our Faith and since we also passed those challenges we were sure we were going to pass this one.
I really pity those who were greatly affected by the typhoon. I'm also worried about my relatives in Dumalag, Capiz. As of now, my mom still has no contact with any of my relatives in Capiz and we're starting to get worried but as long as we have Faith, everything will be okay.

Saturday: Quote Day #3
"You can only trust yourself... and barely that."
~Paige Wilson
Trust is a really big word. If you ask me one thing that really matters to me, aside from friends, family and God, I would answer trust. Nowadays, it's hard to trust people, even the quotes says that we can barely trust ourselves. I always make sure that the people I tell my secrets to are those people that I know I can trust. I find it hard to trust people because I really hate that feeling when all of a sudden a lot of people know your secrets even though you only told 1 person about it. I, honestly treasure the trust people give me. I really appreciate it when people tell me their deepest, darkest secrets because I know that they trust me and knowing that they trust me makes me happy. In return, I do my best to keep their trust. So to summarize all that, TRUST is very important so try your best to be as trustworthy as you can be.

First and Last
Last October 18 the Red Cross, Friends of Mother Earth (FOME) and the World Youth Alliance Club (WYA) had a camping as their culminating activity. It was my first and last camping at school and it was really fun!
We played the Amazing Race which was planned by the fourth year, there was a campfire and we also sang campfire songs taught by Mrs. Gabanes and Ms. Adrias. After all those activities we went to Year III - St. Peter's Classoom to watch a movie. We watched 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green' which is a great movie. The Movie ended probably around 1 am. Since we were all so hyper, we didn't really sleep immediately. Some of us played outside while some of us stayed in our tents chit chatting with our friends. It was a really fun experience and I really hope that before this school year ends, we'd get to have a camping again.
Here are some pictures during our camping... Photo credits: Paulene Cuello.
